New Silenx + zalman fan controller = durrr

I hooked up it to my fan controller, and it just barely does anything when I turn up the knob. Is it that because the fan is a low db, the power it can receive is locked so that the db cannot exceed its rating?
Also, the LED on the front of the fan controller, strobes.....

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

probably because silenx fans suck. i have owned a few and they are WAY over rated.

if you want some nice fans i'd recommend sycthe gentle typhoons or S Flex's

yep they are absolutely worthless, hooked up to my MB and it barely puts on any air. Back you go thermalake leaf blower.
