Okay so I'm about 100% sure this is the cause of my crashes in games and drops of extremely low FPS.

(my laptop is an Asus with a T9300 CPU @ 2.5 ghz)

Under load my laptop CPU hits around 95 C-100 C

Now I know thats way over the limit, but my real question is, how do I go about lowering this? Im assuming the only option is it send it into Asus and have them take a look at it.

Umm, don't play games? lol

Seriously, though. What is your graphics card model? That could be overheating as well. What type of games are you playing?

You need to firstly make sure your fans spinning.. those are some high temps... very high infact.

Laptop cooling sucks, and can get plugged up easily. I'd suggest its time to find a disassemby manual, and strip it to te fan, and heatsiknk, and repaste and clean it.

If youre patient person, it'll be easy to take apart and clean, I'd not send it to Asus.

U could try not putting it down and using it on your bed, as i am doing now, but on a desk so that air could flow freely.
