Could I request some help please? Complete new build. Asus Rampage II Extreme motherboard, with iCute 500W PSU, which uses an 8-pin EPS and a 20+4-pin power connector (all plugged in, and home properly). It just does not switch on! I have power going in to the motherboard, as all 5 buttons light when the power is connected, but the PSU will not turn on.
I have tested that the unit actually works, by unplugging the main power connector from the motherboard, and connecting the green and black wires on the main power connector together with a paper clip. It works. Light comes on and fan starts. But, it will not work from the main panel switch on the case. I have tried removing all other switch connections, and just leaving the power on switch in place, with the same result. Am I being very silly and forgetting to connect something else?
