This is when im playing.

got the Cooler Master HAF 932 case, with 4 fans. front, side, top and back.

this is the cpu im using Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.0GHz 1333Mhz
with Cooler Master V8 CPU Cooler.

the cpu is at 35-45 degrees when standby and playing, system is around 40 degrees.

the problem came yesterday while i was playing, thee screen just went black, and i restarted the machine, and then all was at normal.

i read somewhere else in here about rivatuner. tried that but that just said that my fan was running at 100%, so i couldnt do anything about it.

so please if anybody got some nice tricks, that would be great :)

First, make sure the fan is fully operating. Secondly, any clutter around it. Thirdly, can of compressed air, blow out the heatsink and fan.

This is waaaaaayy too hot, I don't know if I've ever seen a GPU that hot.

Ok, will do that, there is nothing around the card.

But how do i re-thermal paste the card? just take it apart?
never done that before.

well, i took it apart and change the thermal on it, became a lot better.

here is a picture of it now while am playing.

but there is a big diference between the 2 cores now, almost 10 degrees.
should i take it apart again and do it again? to try and get them the same?

10C possibly means the paste went on weird.

If you had no issues dissassembling, I'd say try it again, as the heatsink might not have got on proper.

5C is quite acceptable, 10C honestly isnt too bad... So its a toss up.
