Alright guys, i need some input from the experts. I was running an Asus P5N32-SLI board with a core 2 duo e6600 cpu, 3 gigs of ddr2 ram, geforce 7600gt video card, on vista. The board crapped out on me, so now I'm looking to upgrade everything...here's what i'm looking at doing; i5 cpu, 4 gigs of ddr3 ram, new video card and new board obviously and plan on running windows 7. Will I really see that big of a difference in overall performance gain by upgrading? And also, I won't be using SLI but i still need some help choosing a decent board and video card. Any ideas?

Good find on the 4890, Muffin.

I looked at the Gigabyte board you posted, but the info and reviews weren't so hot. A BIOS update needed right out of the box? Not good.
