Do you mean how to take the heatsink off or how to take the thermal paste off? For the heatsink, there should be two metal tabs on either side of the sink, try to push one of those tabs down and out of the lip on the plastic mount that's on the motherboard. After that pull the heatsink off. To take the thermal paste off, get some isopropyl alcohol and put a little on either a lint free cloth (like a cloth to wipe off eye glasses), a cutip, or some people just use a papertowel and wipe the paste off of both the processor and the heatsink until both are clean.

The heatsink? Sometimes the thermal paste creates a suction between the CPU and heatsink, you might have to use a little force to break that suction.

twist it....breaks the seal. as for the Thermal paste, i use like said alchol ...but i use a coffe filter, seems to work better then paper towels, i pu some on it and rub off the cpu and heatsink

Well, these days I use my "grease" knife, which is dull as you'll ever get. It's great for both applying and removing thermal paste. Just slide it across, and wipe it onto a towel or piece of paper.

Yes, as said above, alcohol works great. Just put some on a paper towel, and dab it onto the paste. Be sure not to get anything on the board wet. I learned my lesson years ago
