Have you already done what I suggested in my first post?
Yes I did update my drivers, my games already had the latest patches, and I have increased the fan speed to 100% and that didnt fix my problem.

new hardware? new software? Windows updates? Driver Updates?
all of the above could potentially cause your problem.
It just started. I did install a add-on for flight simulator x which is called Real environment x and then it started so I uninstalled it and uninstalled fsx and it still froze. I also have norton 360 so I think it isnt a virus. The games that were having the problems were flight simulator x and mw2. I have warcraft 3 and it isnt having problems though.
