Hello,
This has started a week ago, when I play any of my pc games for 2-10 minutes or so they freeze and I cannot shut down my computer so I have to pull out the cord of my computer.I have windows 7. What should I do?

My system specs are:
Amd Sempron 3400+ (I'm going to upgrade to a amd phenom II tri core processor in a week)
1.50 gb of ram
Evga 8600gt 256 GDDR3
Windows 7 Ultimate
Corsair 550w PSU

Is the overheating causing the problem? Like I said the games started to freeze this week.

I've seen this problem in a customers PC, Turned out there was a ton of spy ware :omg: cleaned it up and re-recommended to run the spy ware program on a regular basis and all the games worked again. Especially on a older system, too much going on and the system locks right up. A game will tax the system and if there are things running in the background (spy ware) then it becomes too much for the system to handle and locks right up. Not saying this IS your problem but it's a possibility, especially if it used to run the games without any trouble.
