I just recently decided I want to take advantage of my gpu's TV tuner, after I saw my roommate using his.

What components do I need to buy to use the tuner? It's a 7-pin S-video port on the card, I think.

So, do I need to buy this?

Newegg.com - Nippon Labs 6 ft. Din4 Coaxial S-VIDEO Cable M/M Model SVHS-6MM - Cables

and/or this?

Newegg.com - HIS S-Video to HDTV Cable Model HHDTVC4085 - Video Card Accessories

and/or one of these?

If you want to hook your PC up to your TV then you should do it through a DVI to HDMI adapter, if your TV supports it, if not then use a S-video cable. GTX 260's do not have a built in TV tuner, and never will. What you are talking about is the TV out functon.

Ah. Dang. Because My roommate had to buy a TV Tuner, like the one 35g suggested, and he hooked it up to his computer. I thought that's what the gtx 260 had built into it. I guess I'll scrap the whole idea then until I decide to get a TV tuner.
