hmmm, I've never had any adware problems with edonkey. Maybe I have an older version. Its not the pay version, but still pretty nice.

well, when i went to the edonkey site and downloaded the edonkey2000 file, it states that you pay for pro, which has no ads, which to me sounds like that in order to get ad free, you have to pay, or else they wouldn't have a pro in the first place.
I tried to setup edonkey, because it was looking real promising, but the second i tried to run it, it killed my hub, i thought that my internet just went down and did all the basic shyte to rectify the problem, going into c promp and all. i finally unplugged my hub/router and reset it, then everything worked fine, but that was after i uninstalled edonkey.
i'll try it again sometime, as well as shareaza.
