I noticed that your using molex converters on the power supply.

Which is not good.
it is best to use native PCIE connectors. (less connections means more stable power)

What power supply do you have?

I'm using a Power-Up! 550W power supply. It only has 1 pci express power cable. so I used that along with one of the molex converters.

dont think you have enough juice

i have a 610w kingwin and i still use a dedicated 450w gc psu to power my hd4870.. just dont feel comfortable letting my kingwin power everything

Power-Up are generally poor quality power supplies, I would highly recommend replacing it.

kingwin are also pretty crappy.

That is pretty cheap, there are very few good choices under 50 bucks.
