help with case mod, p183

Im looking to cut the top of the p183 case open, to mount a mcr-320 rad with fans. Much like the guy ended up doing here

I want to cover the hole i cut with a grille (Petra's Tech Shop) and mount a radiator on top outside of the case, and case fans below on the inside of the case.
This is how im thinking im going to be able to do it. With screws come up from the case fans, thru the grille, and screwing into the radiator


Is this the best way to do it? The other guy said he used standoffs, but i dont where the standoffs were or how it actually helped him.

since you are going to use a MCR 320 i would just cut holes in the top just for the fans. then mount the rad to the top of the case.

is there enough room to throw it in to your HDD bays?

Difficult case to water cool is difficult to water cool.

Are you that completely set on it?

Yea, i ordered the case. Im taking this on as a project and challenge for the fun of it. I just love the look of the case, and want to try liquid cooling to make the comp quiet under load.

Does any1 know of something i could line the edge of my cuts? like some sort of thin rubber lining.
