I have a question for all of the tech savvy guys out there. So I have recently decided to purchase a new gaming computer from iBuypower. My old computer is an xps 410 with 1 gb of ram, an Intel (R) Pentium (R) D CPU 2.8ghz and an ATI Radeon HD 4350 - 1GB video card.
If I was to buy a AMD Athlon II DDR2 upgraded with an AMD Phenom™ II X2 550 Black Edition Dual-Core CPU, 4 GB [2 GB X2] DDR2-800 PC6400 Memory Module and a ATI Radeon HD 4650 – 1GB would there be a noticable difference in the way my computer handles games (I.E. Dawn of war 2 and Dragon age: Origins)?

I'm getting this completely funded by my own money and have a price range of about 400-600, but if the need requires me to go for about 650-700 I can spare enough money to do so
