I have two similar builds from two different people. I want
to know your opinion(s) on these two builds.

Where are you located?
Canada
How much are you willing to spend?
$2000-3000 Canadian
What will you primary use the computer for?
Gaming, possible video editing.
Which online stores/retail shops do you prefer to buy from?
Newegg.ca
What Programs/Tasks/Games will you run on the computer?
Aion, Borderlands, Battlefield Series, Call of Duty Series, Sony Vegas
Are you willing to go over budget? If so by how much?
Gave a wide range, but i think 3000 will be the highest.
Do you need anything besides the computer itself? (monitor,
keyboard, operating system etc.)

Windows 7, and only a HDMI graphics card to hook up to my 42inch tv.

I want a computer that will last a few years and that
will be able to play current and near future games at
the highest settings.

EVGA Mobo Build

ASUS Mobo Build

Either one will do you just fine.

You do only need 6gb of ram for your purposes. One of the builds had 12gb
Looks like you plan to OC so I would go for at least 1600 ddr3 Ram.
One build had a black for a data disk which is fine but the green would be acceptable there as well since you have a ssd for OS.

Which 1660 would you suggest ? The list has the
GeIL 1600 in there, and i was told it was a fast ram.
Also are the 1800 ram even faster ? I hear basically
nothing about the 1800s

Can games be installed on the SSD, or that doesnt
really make any difference in gameplay ?

Sorry, have a lot of questions. But im almost ready
to finally order the parts.

On my ASUS G2 i only has a few Gigs of space
and that does fill up fast with 12Gb games. But
i would only have my main game installed on it.

I have no idea how to OC honestly. But im sure
once i get my computer and used it for about a
month, ill start looking into OCing.

That Ram has good reviews. So im going to pick
this one, and stick with 6Gb of ram for now.
