In my house I own and run 2 computers on a regular basis. I have 2 LCD monitors for these but I also have a few extra old CRT monitors. How about 6 CRT monitors!!! I know I can recycle them but before I do does anyone have any creative ideas for them? I was thinking multiple monitors but is it possible to have 3 monitors? And if so how?

It's possible but you need the correct outputs (eg graphics cards). One thing I would like to have tried is to squeeze an entire SFF (mini ITX or whatever) PC including an LCD into the shell of a CRT. A bit like an iMac.

I keep my two in my closet for when a friend brings his computer over and needs a diagnostic or something. But other than that, they just sit there in my closet

i have a 17' in my basement that i keep for emergencies, friends over, etc, and i also had it on my folding rig for a while to free up an lcd for another comp. I sold the others that i had had for a while.

how can i set up three monitors on a system? When shopping for a new card what do I look for? Or is there a USB device I can use with my existing card? Help please
