guys i bout the

ocz stealth xstream 500w psu off of ebuyer

and stupidly did not realise that cpu power was only 4 pin

this isnt a huge problem as friend isin need ofone anyway however, would it work if i used the 8 pin pci express cable into the cpu ???

And HECK NO the pci-e will not work as the 8 pin cpu plug.

what board did you get? some will work with only a 4 pin into the 8 pin connection. Look it up first. If it will there are a specific set of 4 they want you to use. On my board it had a sticker over the 4 pins to not use.

Yes it will and upon further research of the Antec one you posted it has a 8pin as well.

The stats on ebuyer were lacking somewhat.
