Cannot get computer to boot up

I built this computer about a year ago, its been running great untill Saturday. I went to turn it on and it will not boot up. All the fans and lights come on. The light on the motherboard comes on but it will not begin the boot process. I switched hard drives and it made no difference. I do not get the hard drive activity light on the front of the computer. I get no signal to the monitor. I was thinking maybe the motherboad died? I'm running
Asus M3A78-T motherboard
AMD Phenom 9950 2.6 Gz 125 W Quad cord Black Edition
8 GB Patriot Viper ram
Corsair 750 W power supply
Am aslo running 2 hard drives
Windows Vista OS

Any help would be great.

Did you try removing/replacing the ram? Maybe one of them is bad.

Thank you very much. I had tried everything else that I could think of, but I never thought of trying that. Started pulling them one at a time and it started and is running great. Thanks again, I was about to pull the MB and send it back to Asus.
