ok nvm on the gfx card and psu, for the money you probably wont find a better deal.

i really dont think youre going to be needing 8gigs of ram. get 4gigs for now, then if you really think thats not enough, get more. save the money or spend it elsewhere.

and yes, that case from ebay will work. you have to look at what mobo form-factors it supports. the gigabyte is an m-atx (micro atx) mobo, and it does say that it supports that both on ebay and on the makers site.

Switching to an i7 920 is not possible with some of your parts...

First off the i7 is a different socket type than the i5 so that means it won't fit into your MB.
Second... i7 MB's use triple channel memory (3 x 2gig sticks) so your memory won't work either.

The 1156 would be compatible with all my parts, it uses double channel
1366 on the other hand would not since it uses a different socket and uses triple chanel.

So if what I wrote here is correct, wouldn't that mean I can replace the i5 in my build for an i7?

You're both right. Guttzu was referencing the core-i7 920, which is the 1366 socket i7 cpu.
There exists core-i7 models, like core-i7 860, that are 1156 socket.

I've read around,
860 and 920 are about the same, it's just that 920 can OC better.
I'm not going to be OC'ing anytime soon.

the core-i7 860 and core-i7 920 have different sockets and cant be interchanged.

Socket 1156 = core-i5 750, core-i7 860
Socket 1366 = core-i7 920

A quick question
How much of a difference would I see between a 7200rpm HD and a 10000rpm HD?
I'm thinking of getting a 150gb 10000rpm for $200
But then I can just get a 500gb 7200rpm for $50
What do you guys think?

Also, I already have a 1.5TB caviar green bought, so storage isn't that needed.
I just want to know if the RPM difference would affect my gaming in anyway?
