Question about the OS

ok so you have made your pc and turn it on for the first time what happens on screen when you turn it on?

will it tell you to install an OS?

or does it do nothing untill you enter a OS disk?

The hard drive will complain that it can't find an OS. But before that you'll see the BIOS flash screen. Unless you've gone wrong, in which case you'll see nothing. Not to worry you or anything

Anyway, just put the OS disc in and it should load it up. You may need to change the boot priority in the BIOS to CD, after rebooting.
