hey guys,

i didn't know where to post this, sorry if this is in the wrong place.


I'm trying to do a firmware update for my FTA receiver and it won't connect. Is there a way if i can find out where the problem is? I want to know if its the computer, the wire, or the receiver itself. thanks for any insight...

Does it give some type of error code or message?

What does the manual say about troubleshooting?

it says:

Open Serial Port..
Sync to serial port..
Target not connect or target is error status!
