I know the new prescott 3.0 HT chips are power hungry so Im wondering what I can use for a power supply. I have a 250w one now, but im thinking that may be too weak. Can I use that one or should I just order a new PSU? Thanks.

BTW this computer is just a office machine...no gaming or anything like that. It will have a cd burner and floppy drive for devices.

I'm pretty sure that you're gonna need a new PSU, considering that a Prescott 3GHz takes 96W by itself. Here's a PSU calculator to help you decide.

Prescotts produces more heat than they do take up power, which makes them dangerous. Make sure you have adiquite cooling.

Its not how many watts is in the psu but more the quality, a generic psu will screw you. If your worried about power get the thermeltake 420w, this is a high quality psu(i own it and reccomend it) and it is very cheap 62 canadian.

Depends on your thoughts
