Probably should try the ram before wiping the drive. YOu are talking about loss of data and 2 hours of time, compared to 2 minutes of swapping out ram...

I guess i don't understand, you aren't taking anyones suggestions. More than likely this is a hardware issue...

so i booted to a disk (bart-pe)... im pretty sure that runs off of the ram once booted up... its gotta be hard drive? sill getting blue screen.... any thoughts?

I'd find a bootcd that has diagnostics tools,

And run the tests.
