Hey everyone,
Well I've got a task at hand given by my mother but I'm not sure what to do. My sister's old laptop - a Toshiba Satellite M70-215, is in a terrible state, hasn't been used for about a year and I need to fix it up so that we can give it to my grandmother.
Unfortunately, this XP Home Edition running machine is suffering from viruses and I want to format the poor thing, but there is no recovery disk and neither do I have an XP Home Edition CD. I have an XP Pro CD, but that won't do because the laptop has a Home Edition key.
How can I format this machine? I feel there might be a very easy answer to this but with no Toshiba Recovery CD creator software, and no recovery CD / Windows XP Home install CD, I am a bit stuck.
What can I do ? Thanks
