Do I need a dedicated NIC?

With the Asus Mobo, would there be a need for a dedicated NIC for online gaming? If so, any suggestions?

None at all, the Gigabit Controller that comes standard is good enough.

So I can safely assume that all these nic manufacturers are FOS with their claims of lower latencies? Common sense tells me it has a lot more to do with your ISP than a nic. This is what I get now from CT to NY and back.

But ya, you'd be better of paying that money towards a different ISP rather than a NIC.
