CPU Problems

Hey ive been looking everywhere but everytime i search on google it shows me something else?
Ive got a notebook that runs a 1.9 ghz cpu... but it only shows and uses 800 mhz?? what can i do to use them all?

Strange stock multi should be x9.5. vcore should be like 1.075 as well.

Are you running cool and quiet? run prime Prime95 (32bit) - 25.8 Download - EXTREME Overclocking and run it while looking at cpuz. If the vcore and multi kick up to stock then this is the case.

In Windows 7 you can do this, I think you can in Vista as well ....

Okay i'll try that as soon as this finishes... it takes a lot of time and so far it hasnt changed anything

EDIT: Okay non of them worked? im still at 800 mhz

Prime95 will run forever just stop it. It would have jumped right when it started.

what model? Have you checked bios for any settings that could be changed? It is a prebuilt so generally there are no bios settings that could be changed but that is strange. Perhaps the company downclocked it on purpose for heat and pwer consumption issues.

Well i did run this with whole 1.9 ghz once... but then i had to format and now im stuck with 800 mhz... its funny how everytime I format somethings gets better and somethings get bad =/
