That kit comes with a rad box so you could easily do an outside the case setup for fun until you get a case that will allow for an internal mount.

Compression fittings are like what you described. Not necessary but add to the wow factor.

That kit comes with all the fittings you need, unless you want to replace the nylon ones on the rad. In that case you'd need two.
