24" Lcd Monitor Question

I've never seen that resolution before. I would advise against getting that, its an inch smaller, and at this size a monitor, 1920x1200 is plenty for resolution density.

Edit: saw your comment about staying ~$200, not sure you can do that with a 24".
If you step down to 23" you can do it, looks like most of those monitors are 16:9 1920x1080 resolution which is fine. I still dont like the 2048 x 1152 monitor you posted.

i can get a 24" at 1920x1080 for $200....just not a 24" at 1920x1200

Then i would do that, 1920x1200 is nice, but not necessary, as you can see from every1's comments sayings its basically preference only that which you should get.
The bonus to 1920x1200 wasnt really the resolution increase over the 1920x1080, its the ratio was 16:10 instead of 16:9. So the 23" monitor you posted with that weird resolution was 16:9 anyway. So in that case a 24" 1920x1080 would be much preferred over the 23" 16:9 weird resolution.

You most likely will not be able to tell the difference between 1080p and 1200p, that being said I would just go with the cheaper option.

Probably already stated.

If you read this soon enough, for black fri. newegg has a 24" samsung for $209, or very close to it...
