I was wondering what would be the better dell or ibuypower for a good gaming/multimedia/internet computer
if you have a better brand then please say.
Please don't say build your own i don't know enough for that.

Please please please reconsider that last statement. A lot of people don't want to try it because they are afraid of messing something up.

In reality, as long as your careful, it's an easy thing to do. And we'll be here to help you should you encounter difficulties! Too easy right?
Post up whether you'll consider building your own, and someone will knock you up a list of parts to get.

I agree with soul! I'm building my first comp in about a month and these guys helped me out with all the parts I need. Itl be fun IMO and u will proly lean alot abou ur comp! I'm hoping to atleast! Go for it!

Well im thinking of building my computer but as a last resort. i dont like having to go through all the trouble of making sure everything will work and installing it and everything else. Ill consider it if i can get a descent price.
I need
usb 3.0 (two slots at least)
usb 2.0 (4 back and 2 front at least)
graphics card able to play games for a long time but yeah one not going to kill me
8gb RAM
1TB hardrive
air cooled
awesome chassey that will cool the computer down very well.
all of this for under 1400.
so where would i buy all this and is there more i need?

Building your own is the best (and surprisingly easy) but between dell and ibuypower I would go with ibuypower even though dell is going to be cheaper.
