What would be a good mini laptop?

We can help with that, but If you could tell us where you are going to be buying this ( Bestbuy? Newegg?), what your price range is and what she will be doing with the laptop. Also, do you mean a mini laptop or a Netbook?

a mini laptop around 10". I dont know where to get one yet just kinda wanting to know which one to look for.

she'll be using it for probably be playing her hoyles board games and for music and maybe movies and to do stuff on for work and I figure Ill have to buy a external cd dvd drive

Well, price range would be a factor right? I mean netbooks range from the cheaper asus eee pc and acer aspire one to the mid range hp mini, lenovo s series to the expensive sony vaio w series.
