Is it possible for windows to freeze because of a mobo cooling problem... im startin to get so agrivated...

also could a powersupply cause windows to freeze..?:beard:

did u check everything else first? viruse scan, scan disk, spywere? is it a clean install? memtest ram? are u overclocking anything?

i think i figured it out.. i opened up the case and put a big fan next to it and it hasn't really frozen since... im just confused still tho because it started happening after like a month of use

yes cooling can cause that. a psu COULD cause that, but usually it will cause the system to restart instead.

If you have not had any problems when you placed a fan pointing in at your case with the side off, try reversing your fan in the rear of the case, to bring cool air in directly. Or mod your case so you have a fan on your side pannel to take in cool air for your mb.

mayb your cpu fan is backwards? make shur its blowing the air down into the heatsink. the closest fan to the cpu should also be sucking air into the case.
