I'm building myself a new computer. After several months of re-configuring my future setup, I now have this:

GRAPHICS CARDS: ATI Radeon HD 5870 (x3)
MOTHERBOARD: EVGA X58 SLI Classified E759
POWER SUPPLY: Antec Quattro 1200
PROCESSOR: Intel Core i7-960
CPU HEATSINK: Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme
HEATSINK FAN: Thermalright TR-FDB-12-2000
RAM: G.SKILL Perfect Storm F3-16000CL8T-6GBPS (x2)
HARD DRIVES: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB (x3)
OPTICAL DRIVE: LG GGW-H20L
INTERNET ADAPTER: Wireless-G PCI Adapter WMP54G
TV TUNER: Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1800 MCE
CASE: Thermaltake ArmorPlus
OPERATING SYSTEMS: Windows 7 Professional, Ubuntu, [another Linux distro]
THERMAL GREASE: Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound
MONITORS: AOC 2019sw1 20" 1680x1050 (x2)

I've checked a bunch of stuff and I'm pretty sure everything's compatible, but I want to be safe. Is everything compatible with everything else?
Also, if I could get something as good or better than something I have listed and for less (cost-wise), please let me know!

Wow. Yeah it will all work.

could save some cash going for an 920 versus a 960.

I would look at a corsair or pc power and cooling for your psu.

tx-2 over artic silver

With that budget why no ssd drive.

trifire is unnecessary for the resolution of you monitors.

Again with budget why only 20" monitors.

Make sure and check for driver support for your tuner card.

I have taken that into consideration.
I've removed one 5870 from my setup, which brings the number of GPUs down to two. I've changed the PSU to a Corsair HX1000W. I'll probably be able to do just as well with something less than 1000 watts, but I might want to add a third GPU sometime later if I ever get new monitors or add another one. And I've replaced the thermal paste with the Tuniq TX-2.

I might replace the i7-960 with a 920; is the price difference between the two enough to justify getting a 960 over a 920?

I used to have an SSD as part of my setup, but the thing cost around $600, and that didn't fit into my budget. Plus I heard that they're not really worth the huge price. If there's no truth to that, I might consider replacing one of my HDDs with a small SSD. On a side note, will adding an SSD affect my computer's RAID? Right now I have a RAID 5.
And as for the monitors, I don't have enough desk space to accommodate more than two 20" monitors. In fact, even with those two I might have to move some things around to make everything fit.
