Wait for Intel's slow butts, or go with an Indilinx?

Is it the G2 or G1 though? The G1 is pretty much worthless as Intel refuses to offer TRIM support for it.

Just looked. It is the G2. $9 shipping is still cheaper than the $12 I paid at NCIXUS :(

Yup, it's definitely a better $ deal - but: the company (I think) is in Hong Kong & they ship from Richmond BC, Canada (an outer suburb of wonderful Vancouver) so, even with expedited shipping, it's a week before I will have the drive.

If anyone else reads CPU magazine, then they caught the article about SSD's and TRIM about a month ago. I would definitely wait a little longer (seeing as you said its not urgent) and let TRIM become smoothed out, in the long run your money will be better spent in a longer lasting drive. TRIM saves SSD's from essentially burning out because of stagnant data, holding out for a more solid revision of a TRIM enabled SSD is a good idea.
