My laptop (Asus G1) went crazy where I would boot up and a few seconds after startup the system would freeze and I'd have to shut it off manually. System only worked in Safe Mode (& Safe Mode w/ Networking).
This happened after Firefox became unresponsive & kept saying "connection reset". I tried IE, but that started load a bunch of pop ups even when laying in the background. Chrome was also acting up.
Long story short, ran SpyBot Search & Destroy, Ad-Aware & Avast... They removed bugs, but problem persisted. Disabled all services from msconfig as well as all startup items, yet problem persisted. Ran hijackthis & removed a few entries (all this in safe mode), then booted in regular mode, system booted but w/o network connections (I guess from disabling all services in msconfig)... Enabled all services & removed more stuff from hijackthis and it "worked". System works but I can still hear HDD working like crazy even when not doing anything, and system still does not feel good overall.... So, here is the most recent hijackthis log, can someone tell me if there is anything else I sshould remove?
