I think I'm finally going to take the leap and build my first computer. I just want some reassurance that the components will work together. Also, any suggestions are appreciated.

Everything is coming from Newegg. I wanted to stay around $1500 for everything (I'm about $100 over that right now). Thanks for the help.

you dont need an 850w psu. even if you decide to go dual gfx cards, the one in this combo will be more than enough.
Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!

and pick up the ram in this combo instead. its cheaper as it is, even less with the combo. same speed but has better timings.

and at the price of that card, i would look at this one instead, which is better.

Thank you for the quick response. I've adjusted my build to include your suggestions. I've been doing a little more research and found that the ATI 5850 would be more bang for my buck right now @ about $70 more. I found one site that has them in stock. Thanks again.

yes, that card is also a great choice, faster with newer features. i just mentioned the 4890 because it is better for the money than the gtx 260 you had picked.
