help with old school video card purchase

im giving away my old computer, but the person im giving it to wants to use it on a dvi-only monitor. current machine is a dell dimension 8100 from 2001 that only has integrated graphics and only VGA out. i thought about spending $30-$40 to updgrade to a stand alone video card with DVI because all of the cables/adapters for converting DVI/VGA get horrible reviews and for $30-$40 for a new card its no big deal.

question is...do i have PCI or PCIe on this machine? how can i find out? i was browsing through the administrator options in computer managment but not exactly sure what to look for - just want to make sure i buy the right video card interface... thanks for the help!

thanks, looks like i have AGP and its not integrated after all, its a nvidia gforce2 mx. it does have s video out which may work, but i was thinking of replacing with this one:

EVGA 256-A8-N401-LR GeForce 6200 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card - Retail

see any issues or anything else i need to consider?

ya, that'd be fine. just as long as they dont plan on doing any gaming.

As Philbar said, you'll be fine with that card. You should also be able to use any PCI cards too.
