wipe disk drive

if i overwrite my disk drive would that start it from scratch? as it seems to be pretty corrupt possibly?

If you wipe the drive it would get rid of all data, including the OS so you would have to install that again. Make sure to do a Full format to ensure that check disk was done.

Can also do this manually now to check teh integrity of the drive.

so if i completely wipe it how would i go about getting the os back on? is it really hard to do for someone thats not an expert? lol

or how would doing it manually work and how would i do that?

i'm just really trying to get it to work as the boot disks ive been advised to use arent going to plan so this could be my last option really. i think its the partitions splitting it.
