I ended up finally biting the bullet and placing an order for parts to build a new computer. Here's what I got:

Case - Antec 300
PSU - Corsair TX750W
MB - Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P
CPU - Phenom II X4 955
GPU - XFX Radeon HD4870 1GB
RAM - G.Skill Ripjaw DDR3-1600 CL9 2x2GB
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB
CPU cooler - Arctic Freezer Cooler 7 Pro
Case fans - 2xXIGMATEK XLF-F1253 120mm

After shipping and a horrendous 13% sales tax, everything came to about $1040 Canadian

Looks good except that heatsink wont work. Get the sunbeam core contact freezer. Should be about the same price.

Why won't it work? As long as they got revision 2 (of course, they didn't state it, so hopefully they did), it'll work.
