Hi everyone.

I've just finished to put my new rig together and I'm wonder if my cpu and gpu temps are good, don't know which temps are good.
I'm runnning a i5 750 at stock speed with stock cooler and thermal paste, and an Asus HD4890 1GB ate stock and temps are (Idle\Stress):

CPU: 34ºC\56
Core 1: 46ºC\(68-71)ºC
Core 2: 46ºC\(68-71)ºC
Core 3: 45ºC\(68-71)ºC
Core 4: 45ºC\(68-71)ºC
GPU: 55ºC\70ºC

Considering I'm using stock coolers are these temps normal?

By the way, which programs can I use to benchmark my pc so I can compare with others with a similar build? Want to know if everything is working properly.

Thanks.

All of those temps are normal with stock cooling. And they're perfectly within safe zones. Though it's always preferred to have it lower.

It's not absolutely necessary in your case, but you could invest in aftermarket cooling if you want to.

3DMark Vantage is the popular benchmark around here. Along with the older 3DMark06 and Crysis benchmark.

Thanks for your quick answer. Well I'm not planning to OC at this moment so I wont buy an aftermarket cooler for now.

Can you tell me where I can download 3DMark Vantage? Is it free?

Thanks again.

Here's my super pi results. Normal results no?

I'm using WXP so I can try 3DMark Vantage. I'm waiting for windows 7 release so I can buy it.

lol true. I was comparing with another cpus working at the same frequency.
I guess I'll have to wait for other i5 results to get an accurate evaluation.
