I plan on buying a ram upgrade for current pc. I have an amd phenom x4 9150e and will be buying a phenom II x4 sometime in the future. I have 4x1GB 800Mhz 6-6-6-18@1.8v stock ram now. What is the optimal ram setup for the cpu's that i have/am considering ? I will be overclocking once i get new ram, well maybe underclocking for better timings, I will see how that goes when i get there.

Should i go with 4 sticks at 1.8v and don't change it (have heard that >2v by 4 sticks is bad idea) or go with 2 sticks and not be as concerned with voltages. I know that if i plan on overclocking low voltage ram is much better choice, but if i plan on working on timings do i need to get low voltage ram or would it be a waste of money? I saw a 2x2GB set of OCZ blade 5-5-5-18 at 1.8v and 2x2GB blade 5-5-5-18 @2.1v. $20 difference between them (both 1066Mhz)

Would it be worth it to pay the extra buck for high speed ram just to underclock for better timings? or should i just get some 800mhz 4-4-4-15 @2.1v for same price as OCZblade 1066mhz 5-5-5-18 @2.1v

OCZ blade low voltage are the best ddr2 you can get. I used to have a set and they did 1230mhz 5,5,5,15 on only 1.88V (lowest I could set in bios).
