i created 3 partitions when installing windows
one was 10 gigs(C), other was 20 gigs(D), and the rest was 200 gigs(E)

now i installed xp on the 10 and vista on the 20 but
when i save something it doesnt save to the 200 gig it saves to the 20 gig in vista which will not use the 200 gigs i planned to use for everyhting i just wanted the 20 and 10 their for the windows install

whenever i save something it saves to
D>users>username>and then wherever usually documents and such

but i dont want it to save their by default i want it to go to the 200gig partiotion anyone know how
i know its simple but someone needs to show me how lol becauise im running out of the 20 giglol

Im no lover of vista & only cope with it on my laptop i use for work because the xp drivers suck. But to my knowledge vista updates wont download to anywhere else other than a fixed location on the same partition vista is installed on unless you set about manually downloading the updates yourself.

Personally i wouldn't recommend vista partition to be less than 40gig. The less space available the worse that windows will run & the hd will become slow & sluggish.
