I decided to trade my buddy my 4050e for a 5200, not the greatest trade, but I can overclock the 5200 to over 3Ghz. I can't complete that just yet... My temps are too high. I'm idling at 39C, and running IntelBurn Test, I got temps up to 55C. I'm using a copper/aluminum heatsink, and the fan is 100mm I believe. It's a cheap heatsink. I plan on buying a new one Friday. Are my temps going to be ok, for the next couple days?

EDIT: My Vcore is set at 1.3, and fluctuates between 1.3 and 1.33

i wish i could tell u but all i know is my q6600 will get over 80c on intel burn test at 3.5ghz

Thanks... Too bad the information doesn't help in the least bit. :p

Just ran IntelBurn again, and the temps got well above 60C, what's a safe max temperature for this processor?

Hardware Monitor shows my temps as Core #0 35C and Core #1 41C. Is this normal for a 5200 or any dual core to have such a difference in core temps?

Idk about the difference between temps, but 60C is not a very alarming load temp. You should be concerned once it gets to 70C+.
