yes you would need the mounting bracket. You would be happy with either heatsink as a noob.

I use a TRUE 120 and do not have any experience mounting either of these heatsinks.

That mobo you linked looks exactly like this one but this one is cheaper?
I can't seem to find the difference besides this one that I purchased which was much cheaper

well the main difference i notice is that the one you found is on newegg.com, but even then with converting the currencies yours is still cheaper because apperently newegg.com wants to give 15$ off lol
