Thanks. How do I know if my integrated graphics chips aren't interfering with my graphics card?

If there is no option in the BIOS to disable it, look again. If there still isn't. Make sure that PCI-E (your 'new' graphics card) is set to primary. If everything else (games and such) work fine, there is no problem at all.

You may want to disable stuff like dual monitor in your graphics card control panel/settings. Otherwise, windows and programs may 'dissapear' or open on your second monitor, which you don't have.
