HP m8000 Desktop Bleeps when powered on?

Hey, im having a problem with a HP m8000 desktop

the problem is when i turn it on.. it bleeps, now its not a RAM issue as the RAM which was inside has been tested Fine and work in my other pc also. I just dont know what it is

Any errors appear on the screen during boot?

Are you sure it not the ram? How many sticks do you have? Can you pull them out and install one then try to boot, etc? If it beeps again swap sticks.....

How does it beep.. figure that out, it'll tell what is wrong.

2 short beeps and 1 long beep (repeats 5 times) Unable to initialize video or video card required but not installed

thats exactly what the beeps are doing

Have you tried reseating the vid card, if there is one?

The Beeps are the results of the computers self test. It found the vid card wrong and gave the beeps.

If the ram was bad, it'd beep different.... when alls good, you get 1 beep.

Do as Osiris said.. reseat the gpu. If it keeps up, borrow a friends card and try it out.

Yeah, ill try reseating it now

if not, ill just buy a new one anyhow , ill let you know how things work out

I'd try one first, as it could also be the mobo slot.
