thinking of buying a new power supply

here are the specs for my computer....any suggestions..

personally I would go with something with a little better rails in the power line. for a decent psu expect to pay around $60 (american) and up. I just bought an Aspire 500w with all the bells and whistles and lights and paid like $59 or something.

I say, the bigger (or in this case, more powerful) the better. If you ever plan to upgrade, you will already have the power to do it with if you get a powerful PSU. I'd say nothing under 400 watts. I can't reccomend any brands because I do not know enough about the different brands.

i bought a thermaltake dual fan psu 420watt, it keeps my system cool also its almost silent. you could get the 480 active pfc version and it comes with a fan controller. verry good value

i just bought a thermaltake 480wtt http://www.thermaltake.com/purepower/twv480/w004344twv480.htm

comes with a dial and a extra fan, and the amount of air it blows out and how silent it is for that speed is amazing, i can cool down incase temp in seconds and hardly hear a thing.
