ok, its come to a time for me to upgrade. iv had enough BAD experiences with my pc. ok my current config is posted in sig. here is what i am thinking:

amd 939 3500 (maybe the new 90 nm one) 330$
abit 3rd eye 120$
2x 512mb corsair xms 3200XL 2-2-2-5 lat 270$
eVGA GF6800GT 380$
WD 80 gb sata HD 70$
Total 1170$

Ok, i need to know if there is anything i can substitute, or is this the best possible upgrade i can do got less than 1200$ If i can keep it at around 1100 that woud be good

Thanks

You're looking at a friggin awesome system, man. It should easilty score over 60,000 on AM3 and over 4500 on 3dMark05.

This forum has ruined me, because I commit the sin of covetting everytime I see somebody post their new killer rig. :p

Yea, the Athlon 64 processors are darn fast. I love mine. You really need an Athlon 64 processor to get the ful potential out of your 6800GT. Don't believe me? Compare the 6800GT benchmark scores of people with A64s and without, and you'll notice a drastic difference.

You can easily save $50 or so on getting a different type of RAM:confused:
