Hi everyone!
I am asking for advice before plugging in the computer cas HD audio jack into the motherboard audio jack.
There seems to be a slight difference and I do not want to destroy anything on my motherboard.
Here are the differences:
Thermal Take M9 computer case HD audio pin configuration:
1 MIC2_L
2 GND
3 MIC2_R
4 ACZ_DET
5 LINE2_R
6 FSENSE1
7 FAUDIO_JD
8 No Pin
9 LINE2_L
10 FSENSE2
HD Front Panel Audio for the Gigabyte Motherboard ep45-ud3p
1 MIC2_L
2 GND
3 MIC2_R
4 -ACZ_DET
5 LINE2_R
6 GND
7 FAUDIO_JD
8 No Pin
9 LINE2_L
10 GND
Notice the differences in pins 6 and 10. Ground vs. FSENSE1 and FSENSE2.
Can anyone tell me if this is safe to plug in or should I modify something here?
Please help me someone!
Thanks,
Soar
