take a screw driver and on the inside of the case wedge the screwdriver inbetween the case wall and the I/O panel and do that evenly around the entire I/O panel and it should come right out.
 
If it is the original I/O that came in the case just use the handle of the screwdriver to bang it out as it is useless.
 
well it is welded on the bottom and top. It is just like 1mm that is connected. Does this make a difference?
 
Cheap case, huh? Twist it to get it perpendicular, and then wiggle it back and forth to break it loose. You may have to tap the edges flat or file it off, though.
