Control Key Does Not Work

I tried resetting all of my services and startup programs through msconfig. That didn't help. I tried resetting the driver (reinstalling). Unfortunately that didn't help either. I couldn't find an extra keyboard to test on. I then talked to a Dell representative who tried everything again. I am being sent a new keyboard. I'll keep you updated once I receive it. Thanks for the help everyone up to this point.
