firewire port on sound card

I don't recall if I asked this before, but I have a firewire port on the back of my Creative Audigy 2 ZS sound card. The documentation I got with the card didn't explain crap about what the hell its for. What sort of things can I do with that port. Is it for sound input/output only or can other info go in/out that port?

It is an Integrated 1394 FireWire (dual high-speed) port. It can be used for connecting two PCs (network), or data transfers with IEEE devices (such as external HDDs, DV Camcorders, MP3 Players, etc.) at 400 Mb/s.

I have the Audigy Platinum edition, do I have two fire wire ports? One on the back and one on the front bay? Or is it just one?
